Chocolate Shakes & Vanilla Pudding Yum!

Author: User ImageLuanne  //  Category: dieters, healthy choices, meal replacements, recommendations

The last time I wrote, I told you that I actually eat the same food my charity distributes to the hungry.

At that point, you probably said to yourself either “Wow! Luanne is really dedicated,” or more likely, “Yikes! Luanne is nuts!”

Well, I PROMISE you that while I am dedicated, I am not crazy. At least, not because of what I eat… You’ll have to ask my kids about the rest!

Anyway, the food really is something a normal person like you or I eat. As I mentioned in my last post, it was actually developed as a food supplement or meal replacement for athletes.

It’s called a “nutritionally complete” food, which means a serving has 50% of the USRDA of everything your body needs to function at its peak. Which, I guess, is why it’s so popular with athletes.

These meals are also great for dieters as a meal replacement - much healthier than a Slim Fast or other diet food. It’s designed to offer complete nutrition, not just fill you up so you can hopefully avoid eating another hamburger!

Me, I eat it because it makes me feel amazing. It gives me energy and keeps my brain feeling sharp - all the more important as we all get older!

The company recommends 3 servings a day - I’ll usually eat a regular dinner, but most of the time I’m so busy during the day I don’t have time to make myself something that’s actually good for me - cooking an egg white omelet or making a salad or a sandwich with vegetables and whole grain bread and things that are good for my body; there’s just never enough time!

And, to make matters worse, I really hate to eat fast food or pre-prepared stuff (did I say worse? lol). I personally don’t like it; I consider myself lucky, nothing to “avoid” if you don’t like it in the first place :)

Your probably wondering just one question…. “What does this food tastes like?”

I guess a good word to describe it would be extraordinary! The shakes are chocolate and vanilla, and they are sooooooo good. Rich and creamy and decadent and not at all like they are good for you. But if you really want something that screams, “I am treating myself,” you HAVE to try the pudding. It tastes… well, like pudding. The chocolate actually is like eating cake mix or brownie mix. It’s as good as licking the beaters. And the vanilla is perfect the way it is, but what I really like to do is mess with it. I’ve made the most amazing creations using vanilla pudding, it’s hard to believe they are actually healthy and good for my body.

I’ll share some of my recipes with you later… so stayed tuned!

Hi Linda. I would love to share with you. I myself am a chocoholic so I love the chocolate pudding and shake.

You can see this great product if you go to my site at http://www.helpendhungerwithluanne.com

you will want to go to the right side of the site and opt in.

Once inside, you will see 2 tabs: nutri-pudding and nutri-shake. There’s even info on the FAQ pages as well.

I would be more than happy to help you if you need it.

Here’s a great testimony from my gal in New Zealand:

As a non-recovering chocoholic, I knew I’d love the chocolate pudding. What I didn’t expect was falling…HARD…for the vanilla! I love to play around with it and make my own creations — I add fruit, cinnamon, almonds, even vanilla extract for a little vanilla boost. On cold days, I use hot water and it tastes like warm pudding straight from the pot. Try it with fresh strawberries — it is just amazing. When my kids eat ice cream, I eat my pudding and I don’t feel deprived or like I’m missing out on anything. PLUS I’ve already lost 5 pounds…just eatin’ pudding that I would eat anyway. And helping the hungry at the same time is an incredible bonus. I am totally, completely addicted. Thank you!
