Who Is Luanne Ribble?

Before getting divorced 17 years ago, I had 2 amazing kids. My son is now 21 and my daughter is 19. My daughter is in college and working 2 jobs at the same time. No moss grows under her feet, that’s for sure. My son is working right now but will be attending college in the fall. I could not ask for better kids. I think I lucked out

I have 3 siblings: a sister; her and her family now live in China doing some fantastic work for people all over the world. They are coming home in July for a month long visit. We can’t wait to see them. And I have 2 brothers, one owns his own business and the other works for a very reputable company.

My parents of course are our rock. Without them, I don’t know where we all would be. My children are very close to my parents since they were they for me when I divorced and my kids were very young. I think it’s great to have them be that close.

I thought I would take this time to tell you a little bit about myself. I am 48 years young and have been a single mom for 17 years now. Whew! Time sure does fly :-). I am Customs Manager of the largest steel manufacturer in North America. I have been there for over 8 years.

I workout every day at 6am before I start work. It’s a great way to get you moving for the day. I am sorta addicted as I haven’t missed a workout morning in 1 1/2 years. Besides working out, I enjoy the internet. Blogging, I am starting to learn, is a great way to interact with others. Hence, my new blog.
